Ivan Taylor - Owner and founder of CreativeOBD LTD
Ivan is the founder and driving force behind CreativeOBD Ltd. His journey into the automotive market began in 2014, when a passion for electronics and vehicles inspired the first iteration of the business. Although life’s demands—particularly the arrival of children—meant the business was temporarily set aside, his entrepreneurial spirit never faded.
In January 2021, amidst a global pandemic and a house move, Ivan saw an opportunity to reignite his dream. With lockdowns in place and long evenings at home, he laid the foundation for what would become the rebirth of CreativeOBD Ltd. What began as a side project in a small bedroom, alongside his full-time role as a design engineer in the pharmaceutical industry, quickly grew into a thriving business.
Drawing on his IT background and engineering expertise—particularly in circuit board design, soldering, and crimping—Ivan built his first custom cables and launched his own website. As demand grew, he expanded into platforms like eBay, Facebook, and Instagram, steadily building a reputation in the niche market of automotive cable manufacturing.
Ivan’s hands-on approach, technical knowledge, and vision for innovation have shaped CreativeOBD Ltd into the respected company it is today. His commitment to quality, customization, and customer service continues to set the standard as the business grows.
Helen Wild - Full Time Head of Administration
Since joining CreativeOBD in 2021, Helen has been the driving force behind the seamless coordination of our administrative operations. As Head of Administration, she plays a vital role in managing our HR functions, supporting customer service, overseeing invoicing, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of both our admin and shipping departments.
With a strong passion for her work and a dedication to excellence, she is committed to continual improvement in every area she touches. Her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering focus on efficiency help keep the business operating at its best—both behind the scenes and in direct support of our customers.
Above all, she is devoted to delivering the best experience to everyone who interacts with CreativeOBD. Whether streamlining internal processes or going the extra mile to support a team member or customer, her goal is always the same: dependable service, delivered with care.
Phil – Senior Logistics Coordinator
Phil joined CreativeOBD in November 2024 as our Senior Logistics Coordinator, bringing with him over 25 years of experience running his own Hino service and parts dealership. With a deep understanding of the automotive industry, Phil has quickly become an essential part of our operations.
His efficient, get-things-done attitude and positive outlook align perfectly with our company’s goals, and his support has been invaluable to the day-to-day running of the business. Phil brings a sense of fun and energy to the shipping department, along with a level of experience and leadership that strengthens the entire team.
Nikolas - Full time Cable Technician
Nikolas joined CreativeOBD as a full-time Cable Technician in October 2022. Since then, he has become a valued and dedicated member of our team. With a keen enthusiasm for his work, Nikolas brings fresh ideas to the table and consistently looks for ways to improve our processes and workflows.
He is steadily building his skills and gaining confidence in his role, demonstrating a growing mastery of cabling techniques. His commitment to quality and continuous improvement makes him an integral part of our operation and a promising contributor to CreativeOBD’s future.
Liam Rolf - Full Time Cable Technician
Liam is our newest staff member who came on board mid April 2024. Liam comes from a background in telecommunications and electrical installation. Liam joined our team with a view to working within a company that is driven by quality. Liam strives for perfection in his work, he is a keen problem solver and is already demonstrating enthusiasm and bringing his skill set to the workshop team. He is passionate about training further in electrical design and we are already seeing vast improvement in our business due to his expertise.
Without our amazing team we wouldn't be where we are today, so we are very grateful for all their hard work, skill set and what they contribute to our growing business.
