Description

AutoVEI DirectConnect 2U is the Truck Explorer bench and boot interface for control-module memory read/write, programming and bench diagnostics.

Supported work

  • Bench programming and diagnostics through a module-specific DC2 cable
  • BSL and TriCore bootloader modes
  • Motorola BKG and NEC serial bootloader modes
  • JTAG and BDM access
  • J1708, BSL UART, SPI/SCI and MBench communication

Requirements

  • Works only with Truck Explorer and a VEI V6, V7 or V8 interface
  • A control-module-specific DC2 cable is required for bench connection
  • The appropriate BSL adapter or JTAG/BDM dongle is required for boot work
