Description

Compact adapter cable for connecting compatible KTAG-style DB15 bench harnesses to an Alientech KESS3 tool.

Allows existing DB15 harnesses to remain in service when their wiring and the selected KESS3 protocol are compatible.

  • KESS3-side connector to DB15 female
  • Approximate length: 200 mm
  • Compatible with suitable KTAG DB15 bench and boot harnesses
  • Optional GPT wiring can be added on request
  • Hand-assembled and continuity-tested in the UK by CreativeOBD.

Important: The adapter changes the physical connection only; it does not add protocol support. Follow the current KESS3 instructions and verify every harness pinout before powering the ECU.

Cable compatibility note: We believe most KTAG DB15 bench cables will be compatible with this adapter, but occasional exceptions may occur. CreativeOBD has no control over the pinouts used by different programming tool manufacturers, so compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every cable and ECU combination. Check the cable pinout against the connection requirements for Alientech KESS3 and the selected ECU before use.
